As you can see, I'm going to tell you a lot about myself.  So without further ado, let's go!

Another interesting fact to note is that I am the mother of two handsome young men. That's right! Oh how time flies! It seems like only yesterday they were children, but now they are both adults.

Hmmm... thanks to these few details, you must surely suspect by now that I am no longer in my first years of parenthood and even less, a new mom. And it's absolutely true!

On the other hand, I can now boast several years of experience "behind the tie"! And especially knowing that the teenage phase is a whole learning period to live through! 😱 And not to be relived anymore either! 😲🤣🤣🤣

Strangely, while I had always valued dreams and believing in them, some of mine, initially set aside for a short time, had ended up gathering dust.

What do you want? Sometimes we get caught up in the obligations and the routine of everyday life. Thus, time passes, and even, without us being able to realize it.

But today, now that I have more time for myself, since my children qualify as relatively autonomous ( Uhh... let's say partially...), well I have taken steps to turn things around.

So, I decided to kick my butt and invest myself in order to make my dreams come true. And this site is the realization of a part of them. Yes, because among my dreams, there is the fact, among others, to be able one day to grant more place in my life for decoration.

Well, to be more precise, I would even specify the creation of decor for children's bedrooms because that's what I'm really passionate about.

In fact, this one corresponds to the reunion of some of my greatest passions, including decoration of course, but especially of sewing and painting. Indeed, since my youth, I have developed an almost unlimited love for these last two.

Well, let's start by telling each other the real thing because bullshit is not my forte!

So, it's certain that the fact that this site could revolve around my passions, let's say it honestly, has quite strongly influenced my choice of project. However, it is far from being the only reason.

Indeed, if I decided to do this project it is first of all because I deeply wish to be able to contribute to this world, in my own way, by bringing my help to others.

Well yes, because among my most important goals, there is among others that of improving for the children, certain aspects of their childhood, which I consider to be an ultra precious period.

Thus, by the same occasion, to help the parents and particularly the moms, who have in heart that this period be the most exceptional possible for their children.  And for that, who wish to conceive and realize for them, unique and original spaces.

Without going into too much detail, let's just say that in the course of my life, I had to go through some difficult periods, both personally and financially. And one of the most difficult was in my early twenties, which also corresponds to my first years as a mother.

Also, as it is often the case for many mothers, I would have wished from the bottom of my heart, to be able to offer many beautiful things to my children and this, despite the difficulties.

And among these most cherished wishes was the desire to create for them beautiful bedrooms that they could have been proud of and have fond and treasured memories of.

So, in order to try saving money and making as much as possible despite the lack of means, I applied myself to design clothes, bed and window coverings, etc. In addition, I also opted for the recovery of various furniture pieces.

So, it was because of my desire to design beautiful decors for them that I explored a more creative side of sewing and also went on to discover painting.

Indeed, it is during this period that I learned to give a new life to many furniture and accessories. In fact, it might surprise you to discover how much things I have been able to change in appearance afterwards, thanks to painting.

So, for now, let's just say that I have explored a lot of possibilities, among which the one of wall painting. And what a discovery it has been for me!

Finally, all these explorations have opened me the door to many projects. At the same time, they have allowed me to develop my sense of resourcefulness, my creativity and my manual skills, as well as to develop a real passion for painting.

Ah, it's true that it is great to have passions but you still need to have some talent or expertise to share. Fortunately for me, I'm pretty sure I have both... 😉

As far as talent goes, I'm often told that I have a fairy's fingers and that my projects are always beautiful. I don't know how true that is, but you will surely be able to verify it for yourself. In any case, it's nice to hear!

And as for expertise, I believe that it will show itself thanks to all the numerous projects that I have realized. And which I will give you more details about in the various articles of this site.

Even so, I'm going to tell you about it briefly here, so that you at least have an idea in the beginning.

However, before I explain what my expertise consists of, I would like to give you some details. In fact, it is that the decors from which it comes have nothing in common with the more classic or rather expensive ones, normally shown in pictures in magazines.

Also, if I give you this precision, it is because it is important for me to mention that despite my passions, I chose another career than that of becoming a decorator or a designer. This way, you will be able to understand that my approach is very different from the one you could find on an interior design or decoration website.

And by the same token, you won't discover here an impressive photo gallery, which would show a lot of spectacular rooms designed with big budgets.

However, as soon as I'll be able to have time for it, I'll show you the steps to realize various very creative projects. And which will also possibly have to respect more limited financial resources as well as any other constraints. So, I hope to be able to show you the real life of Mr. and Mrs. everyone.

In fact, I would like to eventually open an additional section on the site that would be dedicated to creative families in Quebec. And even from all over the world. This place would allow them to share the challenges and beautiful moments they experienced while decorating new spaces for their children. And above all, to proudly display the results of their unique and original creations.

Now, I'll tell you that first and foremost, I'm a super dedicated mom, full of imagination and resourcefulness, who has designed all of her children's bedroom decors, including bed dressings, window treatments and many other elements.

Then, I would add that I am an ultra manual and meticulous person, who embarked on a lot of projects of all kinds, and often, without any pattern or model, just letting my imagination run free.

Besides, as strange as it may seem, it is probably my intellectual, structured and methodical counterpart that allows me to design these projects from scratch, simply drawing sketches and then estimating and calculating certain measurements based only on my own visualization.

Besides that, I am also a creative person who evolved mainly in the field of graphic arts and printing, so in a universe full of colors and beautiful pictures. By the same token, this is what explains the presence of many photos and the colorful aspect of this site, which you may have already noticed.

It was on a beautiful sunny morning, while enjoying my coffee in the peace and quiet, that I suddenly received, in a way, the answer to this question. I was thinking about my many past projects when it suddenly dawned on me that I actually have everything it takes to help parents create truly unique decors for their children.

At the same time, I realized that I would be able to help parents who might want to design some of these decor elements themselves. So, those who would like to make wall paintings, bed and window coverings, etc. Or who would like to learn how to give a new life to furniture or accessories.
